You know, it's funny you ask. Someone just told me recently that their girlfriend broke up with them because she couldn't see them together in five years. They were too different and she wasn't sure if they had enough in common to sustain them for the next five years. Five years never seemed like an extensive timeline to me. Ten years, sure, but five? Five years, when you think about it, is a really long time. Five years ago for me was a very different time. Something interesting to think about.
